Lyre birds are amazing and multi talented when it comes to their vocal abilities. The male will imitate any number of other birds songs or man made noises to get the attention of a female. They also strut their stuff and shake their tail feathers.

This painting is inspired by a work by Brett Whiteley and I’ve been meaning to paint it ever since I visited the Brett Whiteley Studio in Sydney.
This is a work on canvas panel and requires framing, a white floating frame would look great. I can organise to have this painting framed in a white coated timber floating frame for an additional $200 if required, delivery will be take an extra 3 weeks
